What I Do


Product Content Design & UX/AI Strategy. I simplify, clarify, and improve the use of digital products through content design and UX/AI strategy. I collaborate with product and business teams to optimize the experience users have with mobile, desktop, enterprise, chat/voice, & AI-assisted experiences. I apply UX content strategy, AI content strategy, design thinking, interaction design, context engineering, prompt engineering, content design & UX writing in ways that support the success of both the product and the brand.


Interaction Design & UX Architecture. I work with cross-functional teams to apply design thinking & task analysis, design information architecture & navigation systems, align functional requirements & user interface (UI) design specifications, and create human-centered design solutions (based on research, data insights, & testing) for the structural/functional layer of the UI and user experience.


UX Research & Usability Testing. I partner with UX researchers to validate & iterate designs -- evaluating quantitative & qualitative data (and now preliminary output from AI-powered user research) -- and understand user needs, actions, & frustrations, providing support for design decisions based on actionable insights from experiments, A/B testing, content testing, and usability testing

Why I Like What I Do


I'm both creative and analytical. This is why I'm genuinely energized by writing, effective communication, and user experience (UX) design. I'm just as likely to ask questions to get to the root of the pain point as I am to write microcopy, sketch a design, evaluate user tasks, or build a wireframe/prototype.


I'm all about collaboration. I enjoy working with diverse teams (recommended by the Harvard Business Review, btw) for creative problem solving that meets user needs AND business goals. I speak the language of user-centered design with cross-functional teams and communicate across organizational levels -- from users to executives


I'm an optimist. I'm fortunate to work in a profession I enjoy. I've taken my lifelong love for words, paired that with a solid foundation in UX strategy, content design, interaction design, and information architecture, and use those to support the user's experience with the product and the brand on global platforms (creating return on investment for the business).

I find the human brain fascinating! There's still so much we don't know or understand about how the brain works. On the path not taken, I might have studied neuroscience.

I'm a book author (well, my alter ego is). My intuitive voice says I'm long overdue for writing a book. I've been a reader, writer, & instinctive editor since I was a child. I still remember my 9th grade literature teacher keeping me after class to tell me she was moving me to Advanced Placement (AP) Lit after my first poetry assignment.


I love HTML. I built & hand-coded this super simple website you're looking at now. Sure I could use Claude Code, Figma Make, or a templated platform, but coding HTML reminds me of what's behind the UI curtain and provides context for working with developers & engineers.


Other interesting tidbits. I love swimming in clear blue oceans, reading autobiographies (handheld paper books, not the audible ones), and lemon-based desserts.
